Father, today I am Your Child again.

Although we have the right to choose,
There's something we will never lose --
God's Love, His Peace and Memory
Abide in Him and You and Me.

We dream of love,
We scheme for love,
We ask for help from God above --

Which now may seem undignified,
But eternity and time are unified --
It seems our Selves we crucified,
And think our sins are magnified --
"God Save Us" we have always cried,
And God knows we have always tried
To live in peace before we died.

God's Peace is always with us --
It's something we should discuss,
But now's not the time to make a fuss --
We're on the road to Heaven, or bust.

You've never been coerced --
He quenches our thirst --
Our wounds have been nursed,
But our safety comes first --
Can you see God's Lights burst?

And now we'll always know --
Grace on us does God bestow --
Father, we accept what's wholly true --
We never have forgotten You.
