All things are echoes of the Voice for God.

If there's something you think 
   You can't live without,
That's a judgment based 
  On ignorance and doubt.

Your certainty's a cloak 
   For the doubt you conceal,
But your defenses show 
   The uncertainty you feel,
And the truth you seek
   Only God can reveal.

What you see with your eyes 
   You always believe,
And now you remember 
   How your senses deceive,
Yet truth is something 
   Only God can conceive.

All evidence for judgment 
   Comes from our senses,
And to protect our opinions 
   We build strong defenses,
Yet God sees through 
   All our doubts and pretenses.

False evidence is judged by 
   The ego to be true,
But false evidence is something 
   That can never be proved --
When God created reality, 
   He judged it to be You.

All the human race
   Wants to see God's Face
And receive His Grace.
Grace He will bestow,
   Both above and below --
His Truth we'll finally know --
   We'll hear His Voice echo.

So when you hear 
   The voice of God,
Then you will
   Rejoice in God --
At last you'll 
   Make the choice for God!

ACIM Lesson #150
“My mind holds only what I think with God.”

Review of:
(139) I will accept Atonement for myself. 
(140) Only salvation can be said to cure.

Illusions seem agile
But their chains are fragile --
Once you've atoned,
Their kingdom's dethroned.

The truth is never far
So remember who you are --
God's Strength is endless,
And illness is defenseless.

Accept the truth of what is real--
Get in touch with how you feel.
Once the truth you've seen
You'll awaken from your dream.

Joy is the spawn of truth,
Heralding the dawn of truth --
Since your back's not really breaking,
From your dream you'll soon be waking.

Once you hear God's Voice
You no longer have a choice.
There's no doubt of who you are --
You're connected to each star.

We've been tricked
Accepting conflict --
We haven't kept the truth,
And have not accepted truth.

All our human trials
Are caused by denials
Of our true identity,
Which we have to see
To have serenity.

No longer condone it,
No longer postpone it,
No longer bemoan it --
You should have outgrown it.

God's Light will be shown,
And all truth will be known.
It's time to atone --
It's time to come home.

ACIM Workbook Lesson #149

“My mind holds only what I think with God.”

(137) When I am healed I am not healed alone. 
(138) Heaven is the decision I must make.

If truth is unwelcome,

Truth will not come --

But it's not just for some,
It's for everyone,

And we are all One.

We think we live
In separate states,

Which makes us irate

Instead of great,

But separation
Is not our fate.

It can't be debated:

We're all related --

We're not insulated:
We're aggregated.

There's no separation

Of our degradation,

Cause bodily devastation
Is not done in isolation.

You're not separate from your brother --

We're connected to each other --

We come from the same earth mother,

So now let's love one another.

You think you're on your own,

But God's Truth is shown,

And the seeds are sown:

You're never alone.

Love your life, but now transcend it --
Take your happiness and extend it --
It's the truth, and you can't bend it --
Spread salvation, and defend it --

Find Heaven's ladder, then ascend it.

Only our loving persistence

Brings Heaven into existence --

Your new life is affirmed,
And Salvation is confirmed.

It's a time for joyous birth --

For laughter and for mirth --

Spread healing throughout earth --

You know what Heaven's worth.

Time will surely tell

We’ve now relinquished hell --
Ring every church's bell:

It's separation's death knell --

We’re One with God 
And we are well.

We've taken holy cues,

And no longer sing the blues,

So we've nothing left to lose --

Heaven we now must choose.

Lesson #148

(135) If I defend myself I am attacked. 
(136) Sickness is a defense against the truth.

Resurrection's the beginning

Not the end;

You have no more sinning

To defend.

You live in reality

Not pretenses.

You have need of serenity,

Not defenses.

If you defend yourself

You’re attacked,

Even though God

Has your back.

Here’s the lesson you must learn:

God’s the place where you must turn --

Earthly bridges you must burn,

And for God’s Truth you must yearn.

Nothing is lacking

When God gives His backing,

And you quit attacking.

You have God's Wealth,

You have God's Health --

His Love will mend you,

His Strength will defend you.

Your whole life will shift

When you accept God’s Gifts --

The worlds He commands

Will make no demands --

Against Him no one stands.

Once you know the plan of God

You become a man of God --

It’s time to take a stand with God

And stop all your demands of God.

With amazing quickness

He heals your sickness,

And with Heavenly stealth

He restores your health.

With God your spirit flies again,

If truth you will surmise again,

And death he now defies again --

This is the day you rise again.

Review of:
(133) I will not value what is valueless. 
(134) Let me perceive forgiveness as it is.

When the ego spoke
   It made a screen of smoke,
And with its hex,
   It made our world complex.

But it's God's felicity
   To give us simplicity,
So a holy result
   Is not difficult.

Your duty you don't shirk,
   By letting God do the work,
So don't feel queasy
   If your choice seems easy.

Do you want Heaven or not?
It shouldn't take much thought.

If you choose what's real,
   And choose to heal,
      God's Love you'll feel.

Enter Heaven with an open mind,
   And every thing you seek, you'll find --
From guilt you can now atone --
   No one enters Heaven alone --

What you receive 
   Has always been given --
If you think you sinned, 
   You've been forgiven.

Your Salvation's not a whim --
   Love fills you to the brim --
God knows you're One with Him,
   So you can never sin.

Forgiveness makes you realize
   You're perfect in God's eyes --
This is His Gift to give you:
   There's nothing to forgive you.

Review of:
(131) No one can fail who seeks to reach the truth. 
(132) I loose the world from all I thought it was.

"There is no world," this Course teaches --
"Atone! Be Healed!" this Course preaches --
For Heaven now, this Course reaches.

That this world does not exist
   Is a thought our minds resist --
Throughout time we always fought
   To keep away this holy thought.

We were all surprised
   When we realized:
This world won't bind us,
   And God will find us.

This world's not bleak
   When God we seek --
It's guaranteed:
   You will succeed,
If mind is freed.

Truth lies past God's Holy Door --
   Trust in Him to show you more --
Go through it and He'll walk with you;
   Seek help and He will talk with you.

Truth's not concealed
   When Heaven's revealed:
At last we'll be healed.

It's now become clear
   We'll live without fear,
When God's Voice we hear.

Don't wait till tomorrow
   To get rid of sorrow --
Pain, death and doubt,
   We can live without.

Trust in God's Might,
   And set your mind right --
See His Pure Light --
   To Heaven alight.

ACIM Lesson #145:

My mind holds only what I think with God:

     * Beyond this world there is a world I want. 
     * It is impossible to see two worlds.

Today you're in a special place --
   Your life is filled with grace.
Today the lights of Heaven shine
   Upon your inner mind --
Now you see eternal time.

When the world of darkness disappears,
   You have much peace but no more fears --
Gone's the world that went insane --
   You've ended false illusion's reign.

Your new world has worth 
   Beyond measure --
It's a world beyond 
   Pain and pleasure --
A world with God's 
   Heavenly Treasure.

It isn't just by chance
   You've received deliverance
From a world of unreality,
   Which you only think you see.

You're devoted,
   And you've voted;
You've made your choice,
   And you rejoice.

God will mold you,
   And uphold you.
God's power is unlimited,
   But your choices are delimited.

You see with inner eyes
   A world that has no compromise --
A world of freedom
   That is God's Kingdom.

Make this the only world 
   You see --
It's the only world 
   That can really Be.

ACIM Lesson #144:

My mind holds only what I think with God: 
   (1) There is no love but God's. 
   (2) The world I see holds nothing that I want.

God's Love has authenticity --
His Word has true veracity --
But in this crazy world I see
Nothing of any value to me.

With my inner vision I see
Nothing's what it seems to be --
A different world now comes to me,
And in this world I'm finally free
To love for all eternity.

In shining light I now can see
That God's our true reality --
From illusions now I'm free.

All earthly desires
Burn in Heaven's fires --
  Ending longings,
  Turning somethings
Into nothings

But beyond earth's smoky mirror
You see all things much clearer --
   It's not a vicious taunt,
   Yet words will always haunt:
  "This world has nothing that you want."

This is what God meant
With words from Heaven sent:
Your heart won't be content
Till illusions have been spent.

God has no anger to vent,
Nothing has been lent,
You don't owe Him rent --
Your soul has not been bent --
It's perfect with no dent.

God's done His inspection,
And there is no correction
Of your holy connection --
He's done His selection,
And there is no rejection 
Of your divine perfection --
God has only affection:
You are His Love's reflection.

Review of:
(125) In quiet I receive God's Word today.
(126) All that I give is given to myself.

When something is true you don't have to believe it --

Truth is true, no matter how you conceive it --

You can't change truth, you just have to receive it --

And if you make a mistake then God can reprieve it --

If you've lost God's Gift, now’s the time to retrieve it.

If you have an argument with God, just plead it;

If you have an aching hunger, just feed it;

If God's Garden’s overgrown, just weed it;

If you have a wound in your body don't bleed it --

Just listen to God's Holy Word -- you'll need it.

Because you're God's Son

You give gifts to everyone --

Your chosen role

Is to lighten each soul,

So let this be your goal.

When the Gifts of God flow through you,

The Gifts of God come to you --

Existence is a sieve --

What you want to get, you must give --

This is how God wants you to live.

Here’s the lesson 
We’ve learned today:

There's just one way

To make love stay:

You won't have love 
Till you give it away.

(124) Let me remember I am one with God.

Thank you God for my holy visage,

And for making me in Your Own Image.

Thank you God for all I see

And for making me who you want me to be.

Thank you God for what is real,

And for making me feel what you want me to feel.

Thank you God for making me great

And for giving gifts which are never late.

Thank you God for making me sing --

Thank you God for everything.

Our greatest gift to posterity

Is to help each person truly see:

With God we have true unity --

Being One with Him will set us free

To create a holy synergy,

And feel His Holy Energy

Flow through our true identity.

It makes us who we're meant to be

Beyond the Holy Trinity --

There's just One God in you and me.

True love will impart from God,

And our new lives will start with God --

We never are apart from God --

We always live in the Heart of God.
