ACIM Daily Poem for Lesson #90, March 31st

Review of:
(79) Let me recognize the problem so it can be solved.
(80) Let me recognize my problems have been solved.

I cherish all these bones I pick --
I suffer wounds I love to lick --
I throw darts and hope they'll stick,
And hold grudges till they make me sick.

The problem and the answer are always in my mind,
Because problems and answers come at the same time.

The solution to each problem is the miracle it conceals,
So be thankful for each problem, and the miracle it reveals,
The peace of mind it no longer steals,
The sorrow it no longer feels,
And the bleeding wound it now congeals.

With forgiveness I see the light of day --
With forgiveness God's Love is here to stay --
Choose forgiveness -- there's no other way --
It's for God's Forgiveness now I pray.

Nothing that happens is extraneous --
Thoughts from God are all spontaneous --
Each solution He gives is instantaneous,
Since problems and answers are simultaneous.

So now I'm resolved
To get more involved --
My resistance has dissolved,
As my mind has evolved --
I see my problems
Have already been solved.

Review of:

(77) I am entitled to miracles.
(78) Let miracles replace all grievances.

A miracle just came to me,
And it has a name for me --
This miracle's not a game to me --
The miracle is God's Flame in me.

God's Face is never turned away,
So darkness now is burned away --
Sing praises for God's Gift today --
Our miracle is here to stay.

Each miracle to you belongs --
Each miracle makes right from wrong --
God's Miracle did write this song,
So wait for God, He won't be long --
His Miracles will make you strong.

A Miracle you can't substitute --
God's Plan it now does constitute --
It gives you truth you can't refute --
Its knowledge makes you so astute
It makes false arguments moot.

Miracles appear in the Bible,
And for happiness they are vital --
You need no money, nor a title --
To miracles you're entitled.

All conflicts miracles can replace,
And put you in a better place --
With miracles there is no haste,
And always plenty of space --
Grievances miracles will replace.

Review of:
(75) The light has come.
(76) I am under no laws but God's.

To have recognition
Of your own salvation,
Just open up your eyes
Until you recognize
That it's time to begin
To see God's Light within.

You'll feel no fear --
Salvation's already here --
God's Light has come --
You are a Chosen One.

There can be no confusion --
Choose truth, not illusion --
God's Law is just simplicity,
So give up all complexity --
What He wants is going to be.

When untruths have tempted me
God's Laws have pre-empted me,
Until at last His Truth I see:
The Laws of God will set us free.

And now with furrowed brow
Eternal truth I will avow --
With love He did endow --
God's Laws I will allow.

Review of:
(73) I will there be light.
(74) There is no will but God's.

It's such a thrill
When I use my will
To shine the light
And do what's right.

I'm full of hope --
Don't want to grope
In dark shadows
Full of sorrows.

With love as our guide
We don't need to hide
God's Light inside.

When light appears,
We abandon fears,
While darkness disappears.

God's Light shows
What you're supposed to be;
God's Light shows
What you're supposed to see --

God has a plan
For you and me --
You know what you want
And so does He.

When you're afraid
Just think of God;
When you're thirsty
Just drink of God;

If you have a need,
God fills it --
If it's good for you,
God wills it.

It's time that you start:
Let love fill your heart,
So God can protect you
And never reject you.
If you keep the Faith,
Then God keeps you safe.

When you see something wrong,

Perceive the Will of God;

If you want to be strong,

Believe the Will of God,

You'll be where you belong --
Where you've been all along --

The only will
Is the Will of God.

(71) Only God's plan for salvation will work.

(72) Holding grievances is an attack on God's plan for salvation.

We all have stagnation

When our love vibration

Needs more activation,

So it’s no aberration

If you feel frustration

When seeking salvation.

Don’t take take your search lightly
But keep searching wildly,

You must do the search rightly,

And that's putting it mildly.

Don’t be a sad sack

Who's trying to attack --

Just go on back

To the rest of your pack,

And get on the right track.

And don’t be a jerk

When you need a perk --

Only God's Plan for salvation will work.

Without exception

We need correction

Of our perception

Of resurrection.

You can bite your nails,

Ride the rails,

Chase your tail,

Get out of jail,

And pound a nail,

But God won't fail.

Follow God’s Plan --

You know you can --

Just understand

He’s a one-man band

Who will lend you a hand.

So don't bother

With another --

He’s your Father,

And there’s no other.

Don't be a dope

Who gives up hope --

Learn to cope

With the slippery slope.

So go deep in prayer,

Where your soul’s laid bare

By sunlight’s glare,

And you'll become aware

That out of thin air

He’s always there,

And will always care.

Review of:

(69) My grievances hide the light of the world in me.

(70) My salvation comes from me.

Grievances keep me in darkness
And hide the light --

They turn the brightest day
Into night --

But the Light of the World
Shines heartache away,

And takes away
My dismay,
Like a fragrant bouquet.

I’ve so often tried

To take it in stride,

To not have false pride

And lay grievance aside.

But to see who we are

There's no need to look far --

Just let go of sin,

Letting God's Light in.

Stay the course,

Find your Source,

Don’t reject God,
Just respect God --

We reflect God.

The Light's not beside you,

It's always inside you,
So step out of the shadow

And let go of your ego --

You’ll always feel right

Reflecting God’s Light.

And now I see,

On bended knee:

Salvation comes from me.

Review of:

(67) Love created me like Itself.
(68) Love holds no grievances.

We were created by love to be like itself,
So we're not supposed to just sit on a shelf --

We must live in truth to our higher Self.

Since we're made in the image of the Creator,

We can't live in a dream that comes to life later --

Through our faith we can be holy instigators,

And inspire others to be something greater.

If we can't lose, suffer, or die,

Then there is a reason why,

And this truth we can’t deny:

We're all spirits in the sky.

To avoid the confusion,
Step away from delusion,

And refuse the illusion --

If truth you want to know,

Untruth you must let go,

So stop letting your ego

Tell you where to go.

You'll see how your heart advances
When you take advantage of your chances,

And let go of all your grievances.

Fill your heart with love not war --

Love is what we came here for --

So let the light pour in

As you let go of sin,

Which is not even real,

And this you can feel --

God’s Holy Grace,

Will shine on your face,

In God's Holy Place --

If you want to really live

You have to just forgive --

If you want to really love

Ask for help from above.

Review of:
(65) My only function is the one God gave me.
(66) My happiness and my function are one.

Sometimes this world seems to enslave me,
And then I remember that God will save me,
And I have no function but the one God gave me.

If you think you have a different goal,
You'll find the stress will take its toll,
Until you play God's chosen role.

We'll always know just what to do
When God our loving souls renew --
Only His Love will pull us through.

We are each God's Son,
So doing our job is fun,
And this job is never done,
Since all of us in God are One.

What gives us peace is the certainty
Of becoming what we're meant to be --
We're going from here to eternity.

I'm doing the job God gave to me
And now I finally see
That forgiveness sets me free,
And finally I can really be
Happy, as I'm meant to be.

Review of:
(63) The light of the world brings peace to every mind through my forgiveness.
(64) Let me not forget my function.

The light of the world is
How I dare
To become aware
That God's everywhere.

The light of the world
Always reveals
And never conceals
That God always heals.

The light of the world
Never upsets me,
And always lets me
Know God won't forget me.

The light of the world
Is always near --
Takes away all my fear --
Reminds me why I'm here.

The light of the world
My mind has stilled --
Mental furrows have been tilled --
My holy function's been fulfilled.

The purpose of time
Is to extend peace of mind,
So I'll share my light with you --
No need to thank me:
It’s what I do.

Through forgiveness
I see things as they are,
Whether your lovely face
Or a distant star.

And now I remember
What I’m meant to do --
And why I’m supposed to
Do it for you:

All Means of God
I will employ
Since my only function
Is to bring you joy.

ACIM Daily Poem for Lesson #81, March 22nd

Review of:

Lesson (61) I am the light of the world.

Lesson (62) Forgiveness is my function as the light of the world.

I don't fight with the world,

I just light up the world --

I don't have to cry

Because I Am I.

I don't give unction --

It isn't my function --

Instead I give light,

Which is my right.

In God’s Light all conflicts disappear,

And in His Light there is no fear --

Though the world may be burning

To God I'll be turning --

He shows me where to go,

And where I go

There is no shadow.

His light inside of me

Makes me truly see

From conflicts I am free:

Old conflicts I don't see,

Because forgiveness set me free.

I see God's Light in every day --

I see His Light in every way --

And see His Light I must,

For in God's Light I trust.

My life took a detour,

And so I’m not pure,

But of this I am sure:

God's Light within me

I'll never obscure.
