ACIM Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson 31

Please Read ACIM Lesson #31

I am not the victim of the world I see.

I'm not the person I want to be,
And someday soon I'll be set free,
But I'm not a victim of the world I see.

By asking God for inner peace,

From chains I am released --
His Love for us will never cease.

Independence I've declared --

I'm not living scared --
I'm doing what I never dared.

You can't be a victim

And join God's Kingdom --
When we get our freedom
We also get wisdom.

We have an obligation

To move past temptation --
Make a freedom declaration.

We need to free in the world

What we see in the world --
Then we'll really be in this world,
And really be free from this world.

A Course in Miracles Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson 30

Please Read ACIM Lesson #30

God is in everything I see because God is in my mind.

If we join in what we see,
Then God-like we will be --
We have to learn to recognize
We don't see with human eyes.

What we see we can't malign --
God has made it by design --
Whether we think it's coarse or fine,
On everything God's Light will shine.

What I see I never saw before,
It's not less but much, much more --
The world I see is now much brighter --
What I think is now much righter.

I have new perception --
Seeing God's reflection --
An entirely new projection
Based on introspection.

I'm no longer in a bind --
I'm loving all the time,
'Cause God is in my mind.

A Course in Miracles Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson 29

Please Read ACIM Lesson #29

God is in everything I see.

Don't treat me with derision
If I tell you I have Vision --
The reason I know it's true
Is I'm not separate from you.

With Vision I can see like God
And you and I can be like God --
God is all we can ever see,
And all we can ever be.

I see God in beggars and kings;
I hear God when a small child sings;
I see God in what each day brings --
I see God in all living things.

This bears repeating:
I see God in everything,
And now I'm having a ball,
Because I simply love it all.

I'm not yelling,
I'm just telling:
I wrote this little verse
Because God IS the Universe.

Above all else I want to see things differently.

Although I wrote this silly verse,
I'm still part of God's Universe,
And if I write the wrong adjective
I'm still part of God's Connective --

I don't have to ask if the shoe will fit --
I only have to ask if I will commit --
What's mine is yours -- what's yours is mine --
But we belong to God all of the time.

If I commit to the change I want to be
Finally
I'll learn to see
The entire world
Differently.

Sometimes I think that I can fall
But I'm really not seeing at all,
When it's all for one and one for all.

If you compare yourself only
To the person you want to be
Finally
You will learn to see
The world differently.

ACIM Daily Lesson Poem For Lesson #27

Please Read ACIM Lesson #27

Above all else I want to see.

God you know the truth in me
So you know I want to see
With your Vision holy --
It is my top priority.

If I ask for something I really mean it,

And I hope it exists, though I haven't seen it.
I want to find something I never lost --
Something amazing that has no cost.

God, on Your Altar my desires are laid --

Please give me courage so I'm never afraid --
I want to stop these anguished cries,
And see with the truth of Your Own Eyes.

I'm afraid what I see won't be nice;

I'm afraid of making a sacrifice;
I'm afraid I'll suffer great duress,
And what I see will cause me distress,
So please let me see that my vision will bless.

A Course Miracles Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson #26

My attack thoughts are attacking my invulnerability.

What's true is true,

No matter how I see it:
To get love in my life
I know I have to be it.

What goes through me

Makes me what I am --
I'm not the Queen of Sheba
Or the King of Siam.

They thought they were omnipotent,

But the power we have is heaven-sent -
When God has your back
You're invulnerable to attack.

My heart is glowing --
God's Power is flowing --
He gives me Knowing.

God's Grace gives me

Ability to see
That my Self can be
Attacked only
By me --

Dear God, please make me understand
That I'm more than just a man:
For now and forever, Your Son is who I am.

ACIM Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson #25

Please Read ACIM Lesson #25

I do not know what anything is for.

I shouldn't ask for more and more

When I don't know what things are for --
God please show me the door
Or I'll end up on the floor.

To get what I want is too demanding:

On my feet I can't stay standing --
My life's purpose I'm understanding,
But my beliefs are still disbanding.

I wanted money so I could live it up,

But my goal was wrong so I had to give it up.
I don't want possessions any more --
I don't know what any thing is for.

I'm tired of my petty ego,
And I want God to let me go --
What ego told me is not true,
Which makes me feel so blue --
God, I now trust only You.

ACIM Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson 24

Please Read ACIM Lesson #24

I Do Not Perceive My Own Best Interests

Dear God please open my mind
To do Thy Will, not mine --
It's taken me way too long
To see my perceptions are wrong.

Please take away restrictions
Caused by my own convictions --
All I see is a travesty,
Caused by my dishonesty.

Doing what's right is now my goal,
But I feel like I'm sitting in a hole.
I have to confess I'm out of control --
God please show me my chosen role!

What I want can't be bought --
All my efforts go for naught --
Can my mind even be taught?

In every earthly situation
What we feel is infatuation --
It's all a puzzle that's unsolved,
And what we want is unresolved.

Please give me what is best for me,
And take away the rest for me.
Please open up my mind for me
And spare a little time for me.

ACIM Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson 23

Please Read ACIM Lesson #23

I can escape from the world I see by giving up attack thoughts.

How I'm thinking of my world
Is what's stinking up my world --
If I'm in an unhappy place
I can leave it without a trace.

I know that God will let me out
If my thoughts will get me out --
It's just a hallucination,
Not Truth's real representation --

Thoughts can change the world,
And rearrange our world,
Since it's only a projection,
And a mental reflection.

The beginning of the end
Is to see God as our friend --
Don't think of what you fear,
Just realize God is near.

This truth we must respect:
We cause the world of effect.
Images we can deflect,
If attack thoughts we'll reject.

ACIM Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson 22

Please Read ACIM Lesson #22
What I see is a form of vengeance.

It finally has come to me --
This is not the world I want to see --
I'm not the person I wish to be,
But I've made a great discovery:

My prison's just a fantasy,
And I own the only key
To change my own reality,
And make me truly free:

For now and all Eternity
I'll escape the savage fantasy,
And let God's Love merely
Free the love inside of me.

I must accept God's Love,
Like manna from above,
Or else I'll live in horrible fear,
Year after year after year.

My own anger will attack me,
While bad thoughts come back to me
Till Truth and Love I cannot see.

What I fear is my projection --
Not some quiet introspection
But a quite profound rejection
Of God's Holy True Reflection --
We're created in perfection.

If I attack you in self defense,
You should know it's just pretense --
It should not make a difference --
I'm the one who's mad and tense.

Now I see my own projection --
It's my fear of God's rejection.
Now I finally see what's real --
God's Love is all that I can feel.

ACIM Daily Poem for Lesson 21

Please Read ACIM Lesson #21

I am determined to see things differently.

Everything I see
I want to see
More carefully.
Oh God, please
No longer keep
The truth from me --
I want to see
So differently.

Please take from me
What I believe --
I ask you God, oh please --
It's not a matter of degree --
Slight anger or injury --
I want to see things differently.

Oh God, it's hard to recognize
What I can't see with my own eyes,
And it's not justified --
I won't be mollified,
At least I've tried,
Now I'm preoccupied
By what's not dignified.

You simply can't take back
Your words used to attack,
And you don't need a crystal ball
To see the writing on the wall:
Though your attack seems small,
Pride comes before the fall.

ACIM Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson 20

Please Read ACIM Lesson #20

I am determined to see.

The truth is not coerced
And we're no longer cursed
When our thinking is reversed --
We make the best from what was worst,
And what was last will now be first.

To distinguish pain from pleasure
When you seek God's Holy Treasure,
You must march to your own measure,
And you may be feeling pressure,

So don't wait until tomorrow
To separate joy from sorrow --
If you want to be happy
You'd better make it snappy.

Do your part --
Open your heart --
Make a new start.

If everything seems strange
Your mind is not deranged --
You really want to change.

I'm determined to truly see,
And determined to truly be,
And determined to get set free --
To live with God in safety
For all eternity.

Please Read ACIM Lesson #19

I am not alone in experiencing the effects of my thoughts.

When my thinking is spontaneous,
Cause and effect are simultaneous --
This thought might give you pause:
Without effect there is no cause.

How can there be a sequel
If cause and effect are equal?
How can one come first
If neither is better or worse?

Don't separate thinking and perceiving --
They both result in us believing --
The images we see exist --
(I hope you get the gist)

Now here's a little twist
Which always will persist,
Like a truth you can't resist:
Separateness does not exist.

So let me now emphasize
What you must now realize
With vision of your inner eyes:
Reality is now the prize.

We all have one mind
Existing all the time --
This is a major find:
Yours is joined to mine.

ACIM Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson 18

Please Read ACIM Lesson #18
I am not alone in experiencing the effects of my seeing

From my mistakes I will atone
By seeing I'm not alone,
For people are never separate,
No matter how disparate.

They come from every nation,
Seeking only true salvation --
For there is no separation
In the world's congregation.

We're always connected,
And all been inspected --
No one can be rejected
When each person is respected.

Here's a truth that we should see:
God gives our thoughts no privacy --
We have great responsibility,
And so must think and see
Very, very carefully,
For what we think will come to be,
And what God wills shall set us free.

We are all one together,
So have some fun together --
Go outside and run forever --
See God's Holy Sun forever.

ACIM Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson 17

Please Read ACIM Lesson #17
 I see no neutral things.

Have you noticed which thoughts come first
Whenever you imagine the worst?
So when you want to eliminate fear,
Just put your mind in neutral gear.

When my mental engine is running clean,
It's fueled by God's Holy Gasoline,
And then it's God I thank,
For He fills my tank
With His Holy Might,
And His Holy Light.

Have you noticed your thoughts are good
When you receive what you think you should?
And your thoughts are usually bad
When you lose what you used to have?

The world is caused by your perception --
Of this truth there can be no rejection --
So let's give up this earthly deception,
And embrace the light of our resurrection.

ACIM Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson 16

Please Read ACIM Lesson #16

 I have no neutral thoughts

If I could see reality,
My mind could have neutrality,
But all images I see
Come from thoughts inside of me.

I don't have divine sight,
And can't judge if thoughts are right,
But I'd like to know when thoughts are true,
And surely so would you.

On thoughts the world depends,
And thoughts the world extends --
If peace and joy will come to you,
Then thoughts you think had best be true.

Good thoughts are so instructive,
But bad thoughts so destructive --
For you to live in happy times,
You must purify your mind.

If you want help from God above,
Then here is what to think of:
Fill your mind with thoughts of love.

ACIM Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson 15

Please Read ACIM Lesson #15

My thoughts are images that I have made.

In my mind I picture something --
A thought I have of nothing --
I see it with my inner eyes,
Yet still I never recognize:
I don't see the truth, but lies.

How can I avoid confusion
When what I see is all illusion?
I don't see the visages of truth,
Or even God's Images of Truth.

Well, I'm not really seeing,
And I'm not really being --
I'm really just seeming
To live life with meaning.

Dear God, please open my eyes,
So Your Truth I recognize --
And please give me Your Reception
So I see with true perception.

God's Power and Love I will not fight,
And I'm not afraid 'cause I know it's right --
Everything I see is bathed in light,
Whether in the daytime or in the night.

God's Truth with me has stayed,
Though from His Love I've strayed --
For His Guidance I have prayed,
Yet all I see
Are the images I've made.

ACIM Daily Poem for Lesson 14

Please Read ACIM Lesson #14

God did not create a meaningless world.

No matter how bad
Something makes me feel --
If God didn't make it,
Then it's not real.

To all I see this rule applies --
Otherwise happiness denies
The love light in my eyes.

My mind's a clean slate,
So I let God create
The world He wants for me,
For now and eternity.

I'm headed in one direction,
Toward God's Perfection,
And I'm just stopped at a station
On the way to Salvation.

ACIM Daily Lesson Poem for Lesson 13

Please Read ACIM Lesson #13

A meaningless world engenders fear.

We have a built-in propensity
To live life with intensity,
And have feelings of anxiety,
When all we want is piety.

Ego illusions are a safety device --
If you see them you'd better think twice,
Or surely you will pay the price --
What they'll make you feel's not nice.

Ego and God are in competition --
Of this I now have recognition --
And when my mind's this clear,
It fills with joy instead of fear.

We fill with fear
When God's not near --
God, please come here,
And fill my ear --

Your Truth I'll hear --
You are so dear,
You have no peer,
You are my seer --

On your path I'll steer,
And I'll never veer --
If I'm still in gear,
I won't shed a tear.

So at last I'm seeing
A world with no meaning,
Which I have been fleeing --
Now with God I'm agreeing --
In Him is my being.

I am upset because I see
A meaningless world.

Maybe you're feeling mad
Because you think the world is bad,
Or maybe you're feeling lazy
'Cause you think the world is crazy,
Or maybe you're feeling tearful
Because your world is fearful.

Well, you'll never feel adorable
If you think the world is horrible,
And all things in it are deplorable --
In a world that's gone insane,
All reasoning will seem lame.

Your whole world will be satisfying,
And good feelings you'll be ratifying,
When you make your mind a clean slate,
And follow God to learn your fate --

What you make up your mind to be
Is what you will find time to be,
So clear out negativity --
There is no relativity --
Accept only God's reality
With all your receptivity,
And truth is what you'll start to see --
A world that makes you happy --
God's glorious gift to you and me.

Please Read ACIM Lesson #11

My meaningless thoughts are showing me a meaningless world.

When God's Word has been hurled,
And flags of nations are unfurled,
I'll sit at home all safe and curled,
With thoughts of this meaningless world.

And this is the key
That will make you see
Your mind can be free --
What you think you'll be
Is what you will be.

So come now, listen, boys and girls,
Of truth and wisdom, you now have pearls --
Like a baton, your minds have been twirled
Into confusion by this meaningless world.

And this is a world of dreams
That is never what it seems --
We don't really know what it means
So I hope you will agree --
Your thoughts make you see what you see,
And from this world you can be free --
Whatever you think you will be
Is what you will finally be.

Please Read ACIM Lesson #10

My thoughts do not mean anything.

The thoughts you think are quite unreal,
Although your thoughts can make you feel,
And your false illusions now are stealing
The true emotions you should be feeling.

So don't let the external world
Tie you to an infernal world --
It's time we all begin
To see the truth within.

It's time to say good bye
To false things that must die --
Your mind is just a blank,
And it's God you can thank.

Your thoughts flow through you
Like a stream --
Let them go through you
Like a dream --

Let bad thoughts go
And just say no --
Get in the flow --
True Love bestow.

Awaken to the light
And you will feel all right --
Be born each day anew,
And become the real you!
