Love is the way I walk in gratitude

God gives us latitude
   When we give God attitude,
But I can say with certitude
   It's best to feel gratitude.

Do you suffer less 
   If others suffer more?
If you just confess, 
   Will God open His Door?
If you don't digress,
   Will God your life restore?

If you walk in love 
   And talk in love,
Your fate is sealed --
   Your pain is healed.

Tell the tale --
   You're out of jail --
All your brothers
   Are not "others."

Now that you 
   Know what's true,
It's time for daring --
   There's no comparing --
Have no temerity,
   But live with sincerity.

Don't be angry or mad,
   Revengeful or sad --
Others aren't bad.
   We're all joined together
Like birds of a feather.

Hear God's name --
   We're all the same --
Life's a game --
   You can stop the pain --
The Son of God came,
   And we'll never be the same.

Give thanks --
   You're growing angel wings;
Give thanks --
   The holy life God brings;
Give thanks --
   Each human heart now sings;
Give thanks --
   And bless all living things.
