The peace of God is shining in me now.

We are finally wise,
  And finally realize:
Truth before us lies
   When we unveil our eyes.

With enlightenment we see
   What was just a mystery --
We see what's always there:
   God's Light is everywhere.

Light came with you 
   From your home --
It stayed with you,
   Since it is your own,
But now you recognize 
   Of course
The Light came with 
   Amazing force --
It came directly from 
   Your Source.

So now you can unwind --
   Your light will always shine --
It's nothing you can't find,
   And it won't make you blind --
It's inside you all the time.

You have a universal role,
   To make the Universe so whole,
But illusions take their toll --
   You need a brand new goal.

Go deep within your mind
   And you will surely find
Our fates are intertwined.

So share the light inside --
   In God we must confide --
His Light will never hide.

Today's the day at last --
   We find the way at last
To our eternal home,
   Where God's Light always shone.

Illusions of this world 
   We now release --
We've seen God's Truth 
   Of inner peace --

And now I take 
   A sacred vow:
Before false gods 
   I will not bow --
The Peace of God 
   Shines in me now.
