I choose the joy of God instead of pain.

There's nothing to gain
   From pain,
It's a drain --
Which is a shame --
And it's always the same.

We all want pleasure
   And treasure,
Beyond measure.

But this world's a distraction
   With fleeting satisfaction,
Where the truth gets no traction --
   It's meant for a faction
Who want worldly action.

But it's just an effect
   We want to reject
With all its defects.

And it's an illusion,
   Full of confusion
Caused by delusion.

So choose joy not sorrow --
   Don't wait till tomorrow --
More time you can't borrow.

Today's the right date,
   There's no reason to wait
When Heaven's your fate.

God's Life you're now livin'
   His Gifts you're now given,
And all is forgiven
  On the road to 
Heaven.

So pain disappears
   Along with your fears,
And Joy reappears
   For the rest of your years.
