 I will be still an instant and go home.

Far away places are unknown
And you want to call them home,
But you're living like an alien
In places subterranean.

Your feelings are persistent,
Your focus is consistent,
But you cannot be exiled
Because you are God's Child.

You try to return in time
To places in your mind,
But trying to deny your sadness
Is trying to defy the madness.

Now please stop shedding tears
For your imaginary fears --
You're merely apprehensive,
So don't act so defensive.

It's time you confessed
That you need more rest,
For wherever you roam,
You won't feel at home.

Please come and take a peek --
It's Heaven you really seek --
Salvation's no longer deferred --
What you remember never occurred.

Of this you can be sure:
God's Love will forever endure.
Just let go of resistance,
And ask God for assistance.

What's true is true: 
God lives in you --
So love one another: 
You're home to each other.

Please don't feel dejection --
Please don't feel rejection --
Look at your own reflection --
You have God's protection.

When you still your mind
God fills your time,
And then you'll rejoice
When you hear His Voice.

So now's the time to learn --
Now's the time to return --
Say goodbye to earthly toys --
God gives you endless joys.

Sleep through the night --
   You're not nocturnal.
Seek God's respite --
   His Peace is eternal.
