ACIM Daily Poem for Lesson #184, July 3rd

Please Read ACIM Lesson #184

The Name of God is my inheritance.

From its inception,
Without exception,
The world's perception
Created deception.

Now we give things different names,
Though they are all the same,
So instead of having unity,
Each seems a separate entity.

We all need reparation
From thoughts of separation,
But have no expectation
That there will be cessation,
So must use our own discretion
For our own protection,
And choose the right direction
To avoid rejection,
Miscommunication
And a bad reception.

But don't look askance --
This is your chance
To freelance
In the cosmic dance,
With no resistance,
For your inheritance.

When you speak God's Name,
Understand the aim
Is to see people as the same,
And know from whence we came.

This is God's Place,
And it's not a race --
We're earning grace,
At a learning pace --

So now we see,
   Serenity,
And soon we'll be
   In unity --
Our greatest need
   Is to be freed.
