I will there be light.
When God's Will is lost to you
There is a giant cost to you.
You are subject to the idle whims
Of the ego's need for sins.
So grab the power in your hand --
Find your place and make a stand --
Tell God you want
The promised land.
When your soul's laid bare with God
You won't have a care with God --
Your will is what you share with God.
The ego gives you idle wishes,
And serves you awful dishes,
Like food that doesn't taste delicious.
But with God you always get your fill,
And it doesn't taste like swill --
He won't make you pay the bill --
With Him all debts are nil.
God's Light shines on you until
You know you've done His Will,
And His Love is with you still.
Though your ego will harken
To a world it will darken,
We need feel no fright --
God's Will is only light.
