My only function is the one God gave me.

I say this with no fear:
I now know why I'm here --
And I'm totally sincere:
To my function I'll adhere.

I could never quit
Once I recognize it --
   It is a perfect fit --
     And to it
I will commit.

This may sound bold,
But Truth can now be told --
Only one purpose we hold --
We have the Savior's role.

Keep your purpose in mind;
Think about it all the time;
This is your gift from God, and mine --
Salvation gives us peace of mind.

My mission's no longer hidden from me,
And all mistakes are forgiven me: 

My only goal is the one God's given me.
