Let every voice but God's be still in me.

When we let God direct us,
No ego thoughts deflect us,
But if such thoughts occur,
Then to Him we must defer.

When Godly thoughts enthrall us,
No bad thing can befall us,
And you will not know fear
If it's God's Voice you hear.

When we feel deep reverence,
His Voice comes in silence,
Till we know what we heard
Was God's Holy Word.

Its meaning is deep,
Its truth we shall keep:
What we sow we shall reap --
We won't be asleep --
Our road won't be steep.

The sound is not shrill --
It speaks of God's Will,
Which to me is a thrill
That stays with me still.

So now you must dare
To do what is rare,
Because it's just fair
To show that you care --
No matter the wear,
No matter the tear,
God's Will you must share --
His Word is laid bare --
His Love is your prayer.
