Forgiveness is the key to happiness.

When you hold the key,

The truth will set you free,

And you will finally see

Who you’re meant to be.

Salvation is for you and me,

But forgiveness is the key --

What God made always will be,

And His Truth we now must see.

You are not forsaken;

Nothing good’s been taken:

From this bad dream you'll awaken.

From illusion you must turn away --

All your guilt must burn away --

Forgiveness must be here to stay,

Because salvation’s on its way.

Right now, you behold

A world grown cold,

And if truth be told,

This world's grown old.

But you never can be fired
From the job you acquired --

From God you've been sired,

And for salvation you're hired.

So if you feel tired,

Recall you're hard-wired,

With holy perfection

And God's own protection.

So now raise objections

To mind's false projections,

But don’t feel despair --

What you see is not there.

You're now forgiven --

  for sins you thought you committed;

You think you're on trial --

  but you're already acquitted;

Against God in a conflict --

  you're not really pitted;

For the crown of Christ --

  you're now being fitted.

To forgive everyone

  Is your ultimate freedom;

Forgive yourself now,

  And inherit the Kingdom.
