 Sickness is a defense against the truth.

Sickness is an insane device
That helps us make a sacrifice --
Accepting its crazy role
Makes us think we're whole.

When you let light in
You think it's a sin,
And with amazing quickness
Your mind chooses sickness.

Though that's your intent,
It's now time to repent,
Which is time well spent
Since grace is heaven-sent.

Thinking danger is real
Affects how you feel --
Reconsider your decision,
And improve your condition.

Your body is a pile of dust
Whose urgings we can't trust --
It gives us pain, with little gain,
Blocks the light, and brings the rain.

But truth does not command,
Yet truth we can't withstand --
It will bring us happiness,
And take away our emptiness.

So surrender to God's Will,
And you will not be ill --
Entering God's Mind
Makes you live beyond time.

When you let your Self live free,
You'll live your true identity,
And God will make you happy
Through time and all eternity.

If eternal truth you shun,
You'll only get confusion,
Since sickness is an illusion
Caused by your self delusion.

Yet when sickness is done
Truth will come on the run --
You'll know you're God's Son,
And with Him you are One.
