ACIM Daily Poem for Lesson #128, May 8th

Please Read ACIM Lesson #128

The world I see holds nothing that I want.

This world is just an illusion --
What we see is a grand delusion,
Created by our own confusion.
We see through darkened window panes,
A world that keeps us locked in chains,
And bears us gifts that give us pains.
God's flag is now unfurled --
His spear has now been hurled --
Let's rise above this world.

Lies we now dispel,
And truth we now can tell --
This world is like a hell,
And nothing in it serves us well.
Feel it in your heart --
Make a brand new start --
Rip your chains apart --
From this world it's time to part.

This is the world that we conceived,
And the world that we believed,
But now it's clear we were deceived,
And so it's time to leave.

We set ourselves on fire
In this world of desire --
Do you feel yourself tire
Of this world and its liars?

You'll no longer feel dejected
Once this world has been rejected,
And Peace and Love are resurrected.
So the truth I will not flaunt,
And truth will never daunt --
What I say is not a taunt --
This world has nothing that I want.

  1. I am really enjoying these poems. They reflect ACIM's uncompromising message so beautifully. Each one has been a gem.
