Light and joy and peace abide in me.

All the evil you think you did was never done,
So stop fighting wars that were already won --
Come home to God -- claim your place in the sun --
He wants you to be happy and have more fun.
Let all your foolish fantasies be undone --
The person you think you are is not God's Son --
Within you peace, light and joy are One.

You've sought Salvation with strange schemes,
Been deceived by your dangerous dreams,
And learned that nothing is what it seems.

That you are sinless, God has guaranteed,
And knowing this is your greatest need --
From darkness and illusion you are now freed --
God's Will is that salvation must succeed.

Your perfect Self is now unchained,
Though truth about you is unchanged,
And this truth can't be debated:
You're the perfect person God created.

No matter how much you've tried,
Your inner truth you cannot hide:
Peace, light and joy in you abide.
