God, being Love, is also happiness.
When you fill your heart with devotion
There's no room for another emotion --
Divine light is what you'll be seeing
When infinite love fills your being.
Because God is always beside you,
Joy and love are always inside you --
God is within you and without you --
You know He'll never doubt you.
Since He’s always near, don’t be meek --
There’s no reason to fear when God you seek.
When we love God and don't fear Him
We can open our hearts and be near Him.
And true joy you shall always find
When you look for God inside your mind.
His Holy Light will always surround you
And happiness will be all around you.
When you choose to let light in
Your life in Heaven will begin,
And you know you'll always win
Because you have no sin.
Happiness is an attribute
The love of God will distribute,
And because His Love is absolute,
There's little we need to contribute.
Though fear and guilt inhibit,
Joy and love have no limit --
Joy and love have no limit --
We can love life and not fear it
When we’re filled with the Holy Spirit.
