There is one life, and that I share with God.

We fell asleep and dreamed of time,
An interval within God's Mind --
Though life and death may seem quite real,
They give us feelings we can't feel.

In truth we cannot die --
A truth we can't deny --
From death we will awaken,
For we are not forsaken --
We'll wake up in the arms of God,
And never suffer harm from God.

When we wake we'll see His Shining Face,
And forget we're running a human race --
But remember we came from His Holy Place,
Living life eternal with His Loving Grace.

We will finally find our life
When we're at last aligned with life,
Because there's just one kind of life --
This truth the wise man sees:
Life doesn't come in degrees.

The truth we can't disparage,
But seeing this takes courage:
God is our only heritage.

What seems to happen never occurred,
And what you thought was true has blurred --
What passes for knowledge is only inferred,
But since holy life is much preferred,
From our holy path we're never deterred.

So give up these hideous dreams,
Where nightmares come in streams,
And nothing is what it seems!

An important lesson is now understood --
This world teaches us what it should --
There is only one power, and it is good.
