The power of decision is my own.
Here's a truth we must confide,
And from it we can't hide:
Life takes us on a glorious ride,
And whatever happens, we decide.
Here's a truth we should peruse,
And it's a truth we'll never lose:
Though our lives may seem confused,
Whatever happens is what we choose.
In this world we usually fake it --
What we see, we try to take it --
If something's Holy, then we forsake it --
But if illusion we see, God didn't make it.
What we think we made will disappear,
The sun will shine and the clouds will clear,
We'll live in peace and have no fear --
The Father and the Son are here.
Once Spirit has flown,
God's Truth will be known --
Decisions are my own --
I've decided to come Home.
