ACIM Daily Poem for Lesson #166, June 15th

Please Read ACIM Lesson #166

I am entrusted with the gifts of God.

To God you must surrender
To be His true defender --
Stop being a pretender --
Return your fear to sender --
To God your mind now render.

You like to hurry,
   You like to scurry,
You like to worry in a flurry
   Of activity --
But all you see
   Is not what it seems
      To be.

Like a man with no home,
Like a dog with no bone,
A barren world you roam,
   But you are not alone.

God's Gifts never leave you,
   No death can bereave you,
Only He could conceive you,
   And who else believes you?

Like a giant holy boulder
Feel Christ's hand now on your shoulder --
The warmth of His touch will smolder --
The truth of His love grows bolder --
Your call for help grows older.

All God's Gifts are entrusted to you,
So there's just one thing you now must do:
Tell the truth, be a light, to others in pain
Who wander this world seeking meaningless gain.
Offer them sunshine in a world full of rain,
And lead them home, to God, again.

  1. I really like your take on the issue. I now have a clear idea on what this matter is all about..
