This World
This world is a bright and shiny thing,
But inner peace it will not bring.
Happiness here does not last long --
To God and Heaven we belong.
There’s a world where joy will last forever --
Walk with me now -- we’ll go together.
Though we have no sin we will atone --
We cannot enter Heaven alone.
Take my hand and we’ll search for more --
Together we’ll knock on Heaven’s door.
Open the door within your mind,
And see the light of eternal time --
What you’ve always sought you now will find.
